We are working on coding a re-direct code to automatically bring our readers to the new link. (though, that may not be necessary)

Sorry for the inconvenience. We had to set up a website prematurely due to the SLATE show. With it, we will be able to provide dealers/retailers with a special link to our catalog. However, its not only the retailers who will benefit but our readers as well, who will be able to view campaign shots/collection previews on grassrootslatter.com

Excuse the lack of depth in this recent posting. We have been busy doing work behind the curtains and have not been able to deliver anything more exciting to the blog….yet.

Believe its happening right now

so I went to sleep at 5 am, taking care of some last minute contracts and company plans and paperwork.  I also took some time to work on some logo concepts and last minute graphic designs and adjustments, as I am in the process of finalizing our Fall and Winter 2009.  I had to wake up an hour later for work and school, but that’s a whole other life of me.  However, the collective force of all this empowers me to feel strong and proud of who I am and reminds me that I deserve everything I have for I am and have always been responsible for all of it.  What’s also so significant about this is that it will probably be one of the last nights I will stay up fashionably late taking care of what I had to take care of… and one day I will look back and see it for myself; the foundation I have secured in concrete during that time.  I will know that I have won my life through passion and perseverance.  I won’t have to imagine anything because I can just look at it.

It’s becoming difficult to take my mind of the upcoming SLATE show and I’m sure the same goes for Justin.  I guess anxiety has filled us deeply.  Everything we touch, look at, and feel is a reminder of how far we really have gotten and how much we have already accomplished.  90% of this is already set in stone and all we have to do is let time do its job.  I think we have created the ultimate plan of every breath we need to take until February and how to take it.  It’s too bad we have to wait until August 2009 before the fall collection surfaces onto the public eye.  It’s not that we’re impatient, it’s really because the collection will be the meanest thing in life.  In all honesty.

Business as Usual

Business as usual. We were at the Montage taking care of some important meetings. While we there, we also checked out some suites to reserve in January for 1/5 of the shoot locations to be put in our catalog and literature. Though, I think were going to be at the Biltmore, a much more upscale joint than this one. There will be an invite-only suite party as co well to join the company in a photo-fun lifestyle event. (were also looking for models to shoot in our catalog this coming January)

the Dracula’s Lair

We had a cool time at the dracula restaurant (guess).  The food I would rate 7/10, but the theme and experience makes up for the lack of better culinary.  We had a taste of blood as appetizers and it wasn’t all that bad like we thought it was going to be.  the main course was, of course, the dracula’s coffin with a side of werewolf. no, just kidding. just check the pictures below

Wayy TOO fast..

I’m going to elaborate a little bit on the post “we move fast” from [K]ey Latter..

Today IS Thanksgiving, so they say TODAY be thankful for all that you have. BUT, why just be thankful today?? Just cause people say that TODAY we should be?? We should be thankful EVERYDAY! And not just for our family and what we have, but grateful for who we are and what we have become.

GOD gives grace to those with grattitude. And know, whatever struggles or issues that you may be going through, they are just a test for you. They arise to make you a stronger and wiser person. AND THEY WILL PASS. Sometimes when we get in a rut or have complications we just focus on that one bad thing and forget about all that we have to be thankful for. So next time your in this kind of situation, think of all the good things you have to be thankful for and I promise those things will outweigh the bad.

And one more thing… When you are thankful for someone, let them know.. You never know, you might just make their day. 🙂
